Our mission starts with safety, from the Owner/President down to our newest laborers in the field. Every effort is made to keep our employees protected, our job sites secure, and our safety systems current — so our teams can work as safely and efficiently as possible. Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is well below industry average, and we’re proud of decades of accident-free workplaces.
A full-time Safety Director works closely with safety professionals across the industry nationwide to track emerging trends and new equipment, keeping our crews current on both training and gear.
Training that goes beyond the minimum.
F.J. Dahill provides ongoing yearly training to maintain safe work sites and reinforce safety awareness for every employee. Every new employee completes a full safety orientation before ever setting foot on a job site.
Our Commitment to Safety
Safety is a core part of how we operate. We provide annual safety training covering key topics such as fall protection, fire protection, ladder safety, personal protective equipment, and other hazards specific to our work. Our employees also participate in weekly safety meetings, with each meeting focused on a specific topic relevant to the work being performed. This ongoing training keeps safety at the forefront of every project and gives our crews the knowledge and tools to work safely every day.
30-Hour OSHA Certified
All foremen and superintendents meet or exceed this standard, at minimum.
Job-Specific Hazard Analysis
Site-specific risk assessment completed before work begins on every project.
Fall Protection Training
Specialized training for high-elevation work, including steeple and roofing projects.
Foremen Refreshers
Ongoing yearly training to keep leadership current on safety standards and best practices.
